In 2018 Swiss air rescue organisation, Rega completed its new Air Ambulance Fleet with the last of three Bombardier Challenger 650 business jets. To pay homage to the non profit Swiss air rescue service, Oris has partnered up to create a special series of limited edition models, each one referencing one of Rega’s fleet of 21 aircraft. This Oris Big Crown ProPilot Rega Fleet Limited Edition watch salutes the Bombardier Challenger 650 with a special image of the aircraft engraved into the surface of the watch’s gunmetal PVD coated stainless steel case.
The 100 meter water resistant pilot’s watch with an additional GMT and pulsometer function, is exclusive to just 100 pieces worldwide.
Structurally, the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Rega Fleet Limited Edition Bombardier Challenger 650 watch is equipped for every mission. Its double domed anti reflective sapphire crystal glass front protects a matte black dial with a black coated second hand and a white luminous tip. This feature joins Super LumiNova coated hour and minute hands, an Arabic numeral hour track, a 24 hour scale, a red Rega logo above the 6 o’clock location and a date window at 3 o’clock. The Oris Rega Fleet limited edition watch also features a pulsometer scale on its bidirectional rotating bezel for assisting with medical emergencies carried out over the Swiss Alps. The watch comes on a black leather strap and can be alternated with a red rubber strap using a strap changing tool.
